About Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre

Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre is a brand new recreation centre, which opened in March 2021.

Whatever your fitness level we have something for you. This state-of-the-art aquatic centre offers fantastic facilities including a variety of pools, where you can swim laps or take part in aquatic group fitness. The gym is fully-equipped with modern and functional workout equipment, we offer a variety of group fitness classes each week via our timetable, as well as personal training sessions. We also run school programs and activities for children, including swimming lessons and AquaPlay (an indoor aquatic play area).

Centre operations

The Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre (GRAC) is owned by Latrobe City Council and managed by YMCA Victoria. This state of the art $57 million facility is the centrepiece of the Latrobe Valley Authority’s $85 million sports and infrastructure package. YMCA Victoria is proud to have won the tender to manage this facility on behalf of Latrobe City Council. The Y is a leader in recreation facility management and aims to provide the best in community care and services.

Nutrition

Latrobe City Council is committed to help you and your family live a healthier and happier life through more informed food and health choices. To support this goal, YMCA has developed an exciting nutrition program in partnership with Australia’s leading network of nutrition experts, n4 food and health which our members can access.
